Hey there all my pretty friends,
Some from the very beginning and some are very new. I have had a lot more followers since my last post and I wanted to say a special hello to everyone that is new.
And if you don’t mind check out my other social media’s (Instagram, pinterest, twitter, YouTube) and follow along there as well so we can always be connected.
I will have my links below, and if you choose to follow, tell me that you came from my blog!! Really, DO IT! lol~
The reason why we are here, lol is because I wanted to share my favorites for the month of May with you all! I can’t believe I already had to flip another page on my calendar, AND we are literally half way through the year!! Seriously?! Where is the time going? But we are just a few months away from my absolute favorite season, which is Autumn, and that’s pretty exciting..
But that’s a whole other post! So lets dive into all my favorites for May!
Essie Nail Polish
I adore this polish, I bought it at the beginning of Fall last year for a special occasion and maybe wore it a couple more times. But this color is everything for Spring and I have been wearing it the entire month!! And I am planning on wearing it a while more, unless something else sparks my attention. This color is called “Between The Seats #66.” I would say it’s basically white with a hint of lilac in it.
NYX Hydra Touch Primer
Before this primer I was just using Smashbox Primer Water with the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, which is a great combo don’t get me wrong, but it wasn’t hydrating enough for my combination skin. I then switched the Photo Finish Primer with this NYX primer, and let’s just say it is working wonders! It’s great for my dry spots and my skin really absorbs the product. Also there is no residue left behind, so I can wear this bare and it still looks really good!
Now this product has a dedicated review post coming up, but I still have to mention it here because I really do love this product, way more than I anticipated! I received this from my friend Jonna (Check her out here), and she matched a perfect shade of nude-y pink for me. This lipstick is seriously life changing, lol! And I don’t cave to fads guys! The formula is very thin like a lip stain, lasts up to 18 hours, and pretty much wont come off without the actual lipsense remover. It’s a gorgeous pigment lipgloss/lipstick that feels like nothing! This color is Pink Champagne, the Glossy is the Top Coat, and the white tube is the remover.
Maybelline Fit Me! Blush
For the last few months, I haven’t even bothered with wearing blush. It’s not a priority in my make-up game. I was using my Benefit Hoola Bronzer as a trifecta of contour, bronzer, and blush. But this last month I have been reaching for this light ashy baby pink blush. It’s so flattering to probably any skin tone, and I’ve noticed the tanner I get the more I love using it! To me it’s just a great basic color that anyone can pull off! The color is Light Pink #104.
Mint Julep Mask
Okay now this Mask is just my soul mate in the face mask world. No I did not newly discover this holy grail product, because actually I have been using it for literally a decade! Wow actually a little longer.. I have used this on and off since I was 14. (Incase you didn’t know I am 26.) I’ve been reaching for this mask a couple times a week and I know my skin can’t complain! It draws out the excess oil and exfoliates well. I love this minty refreshing mask!
Live Clean Baby Soap and Lotion
This stuff is really good quality for being an organic baby wash. I have used a few before but didn’t care for them. Usually it’s really watered down or doesn’t smell very fresh. This was fairly thick and actually bubbled and lathered very well. Actually well enough to use as bubble bath soap. It didn’t burn my kiddos eyes, which is always a plus lol! And It smells really good! I received these free from my Influenster Darling Voxbox, and will be posting the review soon!
Well that’s all of my favorites for the month of May! What are some of your current favorites, or have you tried anything listed above? I want to know, leave me a comment below! I’d love to chat!
