The Blue Sky Tag

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog!

I haven’t been feeling my best these last couple of days, but today I got plenty of rest and now I’m typing out this post into the early hours of Monday morning (let’s see how long it takes for me to actually publish) . Lol I tend to be a night owl more often than an early bird! And I wanted to write something out that was light and easy, and honestly something that shouldn’t take much effort from me. (I hope lol)

So I thought it would be perfect to do the Blue Sky Tag, that Elsie LMC so kindly nominated me for about a week ago or so! Check her out here! Her blog radiates positivity and a wonderful assortment of different topics! I enjoy reading her stuff because she posts frequently(which I have trouble doing) and it’s always well written and super entertaining. If you go by her blog, don’t forget to tell her HI and that I sent you!

Questions from Elsie LMC:

  1. You know those trust building exercises where you fall back and someone catches you? (I don’t know the name) Well, who would you want to catch you and would you fall at all?

I would definitely want my husband to catch me. I would trust him 100% to catch me every time.

2. Would you have believed 5 years ago you would be where you are today?

Some parts definitely yes and some parts no not at all. But that’s the beautiful thing about life, it is what ever you create it to be. Without going into details I would say I am far better off where I am now, then I actually imagined 5 years ago. I’m very happy with where my life is and where it is going.

3. Is there a particular lifelike dream you would like to have in your sleep?

Hmm, lol I’m not sure. I can’t really think of something that I would particularly want to dream about. Maybe having towers of donuts at my despair, and never getting fat from eating them lol!

4. What would you do if someone drank a glass of raw eggs in front of you?

Umm, lol probably vomit! Really though, I love eggs probably more than the average person. I usually eat eggs everyday, anytime, any way! But that would really make my stomach turn if I witnessed that! I have a pretty weak stomach when it comes to gross things!

5. Spring/Summer/Autumn or Winter? What’s your favorite?

Autumn all the way. Not just because it’s my middle name, or that I was born in October, or that my two favorite holidays (Halloween and Thanksgiving) are in Autumn… Okay those all play a huge part! It’s just my favorite season, the colors changing and the weather cooling down. The best time of the year.

6. What is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?

Any way. Rainy days are my favorite days as well. I do like to spend those days in doors with a hot drink, watching Netflix, maybe even some baking. Or sometimes on a rainy day, I get lots of energy and feel like doing all the things. Grocery shop, run some errands, and sometimes just load up the kiddos and hubby and go for a family drive in the rain.

7. If you could jump into the storyline of any book right now, what book would it be and what scene would you choose?

Oh Kay, this one is crazy tough.. But I’m going to make it simple for the sake of the readers. Any Harry Potter Book, in any scene.. lol am I right? or am I right? Okay ya, Harry Potter nerd here, and there is no shame!

8. What is your favorite thing to do with family/friends?

Anything really. Just time I get to spend with them is time that I really cherish. I love my close knit group of family and friends. I wouldn’t say the group is large but “quality over quantity man!” (If you know what movie that’s from, then your officially apart of my close knit group, lol congratulations!)

9. What is your favorite quote?

As seasons of my life change, my favorite quotes change too. I have many on post it notes around my house and ever so often I’ll write one down that resonates with me or something that I’m going through and I’ll stick it some where somewhat visible.

Some that I’ve been repeating often or re-reading are:

“Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you think you’ve been buried, but actually you’ve been planted.”

“God is within her, she will not fall.” -psalms 46:5

“Attract what you expect, reflect what you desire, become what you respect, mirror what you admire.”

10. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

Well I’m fairly new at blogging, so I am still learning the things around here. But the community has impressed me so far. Not that I expected a lot of negativity, I just didn’t anticipate the huge amount of support I would receive from strangers. Lol whom are not so much of strangers anymore and are actually turning into great friends with similar interest. I’ve really finally found something that I really like to do and I can actually call it my hobby. I don’t imagine myself stopping anytime soon, and I hope I can actually turn this blogging lifestyle into a way to provide for my family.. So I guess I could say my favorite thing about blogging would be the connections, the possibilities to come, and just the fact that I have people supporting me for just being me.

11. Have you ever been to a haunted house? If not, would you want to go to one?

I would say I have been to a haunted house and I didn’t like it one bit. It obviously wasn’t a confirmed haunted house, but for real, you could just tell! It was terrifying I probably would never do that again. I LOVE scary movies but I have NOO desire to go to any haunted houses! lol I am a wimp!

Thank you again Elsie LMC for nominating me! I thoroughly enjoyed answering everyone of your questions. I hope you enjoy my answers lol!
